    They're not too bad, but if ever one feels threatened it'll chirp away like mad and attract all it's family and friends and they'll all gather and chirp quite noisily. I've often gone to see why and sometimes there's a snake or a goanna or a cat or another type of bird they don't like such as a bird of prey nearby. They're also called 'Soldier Birds' on account of they'll drive off any other bird that's ventured into its territory. They can be a bit of a nuisance as they also drive off other native birds that venture in to feed on nectar producing plants.

    Thanks for the info.

    I wondered why the squirrels were making so much noise in my fave garden, when I saw a hawk fly over. Early warning system?
