In what was supposed to be all white freesia, I seems to have gotten at least one yellow in each bag. Yellow isn't my favorite flower color. If I'm super careful, can I dig up the yellow freesias and surrounding dirt, then pot them up to give them away as little Easter presents? Or will they promptly die? If there's a good chance that they will die in a move... I may as well just pull them. Thanks!

Where are you located? In temperate climates, crocus and daffs are planted in fall for spring blooms. If you are in a cold winter climate, freesia and sparaxis are planted after last frost for summer blooms - they generally will not survive freezing winter temperatures. Crocuses appear first in my garden.....they have been blooming for the last few weeks. Then they are followed by the earliest daffs - the rest of the crew will be a few weeks later. Sparaxis and freesia bloom here in early to mid summer.
