| Our Jacaranda is around 8 yrs old and about 6ft high. It has been moved a couple of times but now appears to be in the right spot and is taking off well. It flowered for the first time last year. It has two single main trunks growing from just above soil level and both trunks are leafing and flowering. My husband wants to cut one trunk away because he thinks it looks odd and says they should only have one, but I love it the way it is. Is there any practical reason for removing one trunk, perhaps safety for example? |
