Eucalyptus deglupta

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has grown this species?
I think I have posted this question ages ago, but I have forgotten!

It is native to PNG and through to Sulawesi and maybe on Borneo.

It is obviously not Australian and Im not even sure whether Ill grow them but however I doubt it will grow exceedingly well in NE NSW where my garden is.

The patterns produced on the trunk by the flaking bark are simply amazing.

Any knowledge would be appreciated.

From Kris
