Satsuki Azaleas? Where to buy in Australia?

My wife has grown a number of these in past years; however due to misfortune we have lost quite a number of them and would like to know where to purchase some from. We would happily consider cuttings as well. I hope that someone could help. Yours faithfully, Tassen at Skolawn.

Hi

First off Satsukis flower much latter than other azaleas and this can cause problems with the flowers being damaged by the heat. Because of this they are not generally popular with gardeners.

Nevertheless, when happy they sure are pretty!!!

Do not know of any general nurseries where you might find them but since they are popular with Bonsaiists you might try the specialist bonsai nurseries.
