Can someone recommend a tree species based on the following conditions?

- For a small patio space
- 2 to 3 meters tall at planting
- Mature at no more than 5 meters
- Deciduous
- Showy flowers
- No messy fruit
- Interesting bark

???

RE: Tree recommendation

I think a crape myrtle (lagerstroemia sp) will fit the bill perfectly. There are varieties that grow 3-4 metres in pink, purples and white. The bark is spectacular when mature and it has the added bonus of autumn color.
