fastgrowing screening plant max 4metres

i am looking for ideas for a fastgrowing screening plant that does not grow bigger than 4 metres. Currently have 3 evergreen ash which the previous owners planted to screen out the neighbours. They have grown too big now though and no longer providing privacy + the neighbours are complaining about the size of the trees and the flowers it drops. So the plant also can't drop too many leaves or flowers.

I do not want the usual murraya or photinia (already have plenty of these). I did think of bamboo but this seems to lean over a bit and look straggly. Only other thing i can think of are lillypillys but i dont really want to deal with the psyllids...
any suggestions?

There are Lily Pilly out there that don't suffer from it I grow a line of 14 in front of one of my side boundary fences.

Acmena smithii var Minor 4-5 mts high x 1.5 mts wide

There is another Acmena smithii also that grows a little shorter Sorry I don't know the variety your Nursery would know.
I was going to buy it them decided on the taller one.. Cheers Mary-Anne.
