Curry Leaf Tree

Can anyone help me find a Murraya koenigii or Curry-leaf tree? I have posted this on the herbs forum because of the use of the leaves, but this is probably the better place to post. There is a nursery in NSW but I don't know of one in Vic. The local nurseries stock different types of Murraya but not the koenigii. I know I am being optimistic in trying to grow it here, but one can but try.

Do you know you can freeze curry leaves? I pick through the leaves, discarding any that look a bit bruised or past it, and put the goodies in a small plastic container which goes straight into the freezer. The required 4-6 frozen leaves go straight into the pan.

If you aren't in a great hurry for curry leaves, you can buy seeds from Green Patch Organic Seeds and grow your own.

Here is a link that might be useful: http://www.greenpatchseeds.com.au/BAREROOTED.HTML

Hi Guys,
I have finally got a curry leaf tree! It only took nearly 12 months. Put one on order at a local nursery and it has just arrived! Now let's see if I can keep it alive over the winter. Today was a good start.. nice and frosty!

Curry Leaf Tree - which one?

I have finally received a Curry Leaf Tree (Murraya Koenigi) which I ordered nearly a year ago and I am not sure it is the right one, after all. I am positive the leaves I used to use in Malaysia were smaller and rounder. Also the fragrance when frying the leaves is to my memory, quite different! How many of these bushes/trees have leaves which are used in curries?
