Eucaliptus sideroxylon (red ironbark)

Does anybody know how to germinate the seeds from this tree
I have tryed and failed
It is a beautifull eucalipt with black bark and blue leaves it also has a pink to red flower in the winter and spring

RE: Eucaliptus sideroxylon (red ironbark)

with eucalypts generally you don't bury the seed, just sprinkle it on the surfaceof your potting soil & water. It may be too cold at the moment to germinate them, so I'd wait till spring.
