What's Wrong with my Photinias

Can anyone tell me what might be wrong with my Photinias?? The leaves are yellowing and I was wondering if there is a mineral deficiency or overload? Or could they be stressed? I have noticed a few curl grubs when I've been digging nearby.

Cheers,
Lyn

Photinias are usually pretty hardy. The only thing I can think of is an iron deficiency. This means that although there is iron present in the soil the plant is not able to access it. Do any other plants in the vicinity show similar yellowing?
Cheers,
Dee.

No the other plants (other than the Photinias) aren't showing any yellowing. The yellow leaves seem to be more towards the bottom of the plant. The new growth is nice and red and looking healthy. Cheers, Lyn

Well, I think I would just leave well enough alone. It may have been a bit of stress due to lack of water at some stage, but it sounds like it's doing fine now.
Cheers,
Dee.
