Saw a sapium at the nursery today. Nice leaves caught my eye and when I read the label I realised it's a small enough tree for us to find room for. Anything I should know about it? Invasive? Suckering? Needs lots of water?

RE: sapium

Hi

I don't know if you are still looking for info on Sapium otherwise known as Chinese Tallow tree.

Great deciduous tree especially for warmer winter areas such as Sydney.

One word of warning, it can escape from cultivation and become a weed, but the local birds seem to like it.
