I recently purchased a condo at a place called Poinciana golf club and I wanted to know, what does a poinciana look like?

Hi, The poinciana tree (Delonix regia) is a beautiful plant. It has wide spreading branches with feathery leaves. It is great for shade. It has crimson red flowers during summer and is really spectacular. I read once that it was regarded as one of the most beautiful trees in the world. Hope this helps. Regards Graeme Haymes

Not normally known as Poinciana in the U.S. and many other countries. Quite often called the Flamboyant Tree in many countries.

Somebody on the forums posted a picture of a yellow flowering poinciana (truly lovely). They are a beautiful shade tree for a large yard - the branches spread very wide.
