Rice or Wax plant

| I live in Orange County, California I just purchased a shrub at the Fullerton Arboretum's Annual Plant Sale. I was told the plant was native to Australia and the common name was the Wax plant. Another member called it a Rice plant.
From what I've found on-line it looks to be a Pink Phebalium nottii. Any guidance as to planting and care? Is this the Rice or Wax plant? |

Hope this may help - Pimelea rosea - the Pink Rice Flower Chamelaucium sp. - what we regard in Australia as the Wax Flowers. Phebalium notti- Pink Phebalium Search for these and you may be able to discover which one you have. Common names for plants can vary between areas let alone the variance that could occur between countries. Best of luck Louise5 |
