Paulownia trees

Have a Paulownia tree, actually it has cloned itself , now 2 trees about 10 feet from the house,beautiful flowers in the spring and lovely shade in the summer,so am reluctant to destroy it, however the roots although shallow have lifted the turf all over the lawn and suckers are appearing from time to time all over the place.
am now worried that it may be a problem for the house, can anyone allay my fears or is the only remedy to cut them down
