travellers palms

hi all
we have a great stand of palms that must have been in situ for many years,.
i would like to cut a few of the suckers from the base and replant elsewhere.
can this be done and if so how.. will they survive/
look forward to hearing from someone.

You wont have any trouble growing them ....Just out of Curiosity have you even grown them from the seeds, my neighbour in Townsville had one growing and there were always heaps of blue seeds on them, and I got tired of pulling them out ..So I used to go and cut them off and bin them, Sorry they are not a favourite of mine, also they are not a true Palm.
