Could someone please tell me the best time and the best way to shape and prune a 20 year old frangipani tree....???? (on the south coast of NSW?)...thanks Rhondda.

Rhondda,
Like most other things, after flowering but before the new flowering wood grows. Otherwise you will not have any flowers next season. As a general rule by one third but as Frangipani is very hardy you could take more if you needed too for shape. All of your cuttings will strike if you lay them out on the ground and leave them to dry out for 2 to 3 weeks then plant or pot them up,
