Roses in the garden

I usually post pictures over at the Oz Garden Gallery,
but there may be folk here who would like to see the DA's in my garden.
It's been a great year in South Australia - what about elsewhere. If others have pics of roses in their garden setting, I would love to see them - please leave a link,
All the best,
Mary

Thank you for that wonderful sight.
It must be like walking in wonderland with the sights and perfume, what a wonderful world you live in.
I am looking out of the window next to me at my little Rose garden and telling it what I expect from it now.
You must have the perfect weather for them there.

I was looking through your pictures yesterday and they are just beautiful. Your garden is just breathtaking, I can only hope mine will look half as good in a year or two.

Fantastic as USUAL Mary, I have missed your postings, One thing you Southerners gave got is the right climate for growing roses as I walked around mine today thinking it was only a week ago that we got a good shower of rain, and now the roses are showing signs of BS again and its only five days since I sprayed, and the past four days have been in the mid thirties so I am thankful that I planted most of my news ones where they could get a fair amount of mid-day shade.

I must say that your Iceberg looks terrific, and could you tell me if that rose on the bottom RH side of the Mauve Bed is Lavender Dream and if not what is it please. The DA's are fantastic and what is the pink one on the right of the Old Path would it be Sir W.R.

Thank you so much for sharing your Beautiful Gardens with us......Cheers...MM.

Thank you all very much indeed for your lovely comments - we do have a good climate for roses :)

MM - you are right it is Lavender Dream - I have several, such a pretty and generous rose and quick to grow and repeat!
The rose on the old path is Bonica. Another rose which does well.
If roses do well, I tend to repeat them, usually by cuttings - still leaves roses which I just have to have regardless :)
All the best and a very Happy Christmas to you all.

Hi Mary once again and thanks. Well I must say your Lavender Dream is beautiful mine is starting its second flush, I ordered three this winter to go on a side fence and O boy have they grown easy 6ft tall and wider than that with so many side shoots covered in clusters of buds if it gets to look half as good as yours I will be very happy.

So the pink one is Bonica well go to the top of the class, I have two patio ones and at present they dont look anything like yours, but I think mine flower better in the cooler weather around Easter, low to mid thirties every day now so what chance does a poor rose have. Looking forward to many more pics...Cheers..MM.

Hi Mary
I have just seen your photos and your garden is stunning.
Do you show it ie have open days?
I have seen wonderful gardens that are open and yours is right up there with the best of them.
All the roses look so healthy. How do you manage such a big garden?
I couldnt see any BS or p mildew...and all the blooms are so richly coloured.
Congrats-it is a garden to be treasured.
cheers
Michelle

Simply stunning Mary - I always enjoy looking at your pics. It has been a great year for the roses - yours are just beautiful. As summer has been so delayed reaching WA this year, mine are still powering along great too - nice to not have blooms getting fried yet as they usually are!!
thanks so much for sharing.
