Does Seduction usually do this.

It has gone white, its pure white when it opens up, as a small bud there is a hint of pink in the centre but that does not last for long. I do realise that it has been very warm of late but Seduction has been my best rose this season even if it is a new one. So do I blame the heat for this white as when it bloomed for the first time it was quite a dark pink especially on the edges, or is it lacking something.......Cheers..MM.

Here is a link that might be useful: Seduction

Not the heat, the sun is bleaching the colour. Those are not young blooms you show, given the black stamens, so they've been out a couple of days. The coming bud is OK though. Show them with cream or white stamens for a fairer example of your problem.

That bud of two days ago is now gone, they used to last longer I guess it is the heat as they are not in the sun too long as I planted them so they only got a little sun in the early morn , there are not many fowers on it at present though plenty of buds coming, also the flowers are not as big as they used to be. Guess these roses dont like our warmer weather. I do hope they perform better in the Autumn like they did in the Spring, the flowers used to last a week then and look pink even when two days old....Good to know it is not lacking anything.........Thanks. Cheers..MM.

I find Seduction an endless source of surprises. No flush of blooms is the same. But it does keep blooming. If anything is constant it's that the first blooms are less lovely than those that follow, until the last few. Mine's just revving up for another display now, bless it.
