I love this rose too Jan, for it's form, but also it's fantastic fragrance.Maybe your next flush will be more fragrant. Judy, how do your roses go for black spot in NQ, and how much rainfall do you get each year? I've been wondering these things every time I see you posting on the forum? Thrip |

| Sorry to say Jan, but yours is not pink enough, and should have strong fragrance to be Radox Bouquet. If you know the supplier, take a bloom to them and ask what they think it is. |

Thrip, We get most of our rain in summer and lots of it, but the rest of the year is still fairly humid, especially at night so my roses ALWAYS have heaps of black spot. I just try to ignore it. The flowers still look ok but the bushes are not as bushy as those of my landlady who sprays a lot. I just try hard not to show it in the photos. Cheers Judy |

Thanks Judy.Maybe tea roses would do well up there.I been thinking that I, (some time in a fantasy future when I have the spare time) or somebody at least should try and breed a line of "tropical roses" with maybe tea roses as a starting point. Not sure what to cross them with though. Many of the teas'seem to grow absolutly mad here in our hot weather. Thrip |
