I had a look at the web site. I took this pic of some little beasties on my rose but they dont look much like the thrips on that site, Wot are they?
Thanks MM I joined up with photobucket and this is it. OK now, is this thrip? these are the little nasties I found under the petals, they dont look much like the ones in the picture from lozza. Leyland
First photo, no . Thrips don't have grubs, they have nymphs, junior wingless thrips. They go through 4 instars (metamorpheses) in the ground before becoming adult and flying around. Looks like though you have a katydid in the neighbourhood. Second post, no photo.
Hi MM, I joined up with photobucket like you suggested and put several pictures on the site, trouble is after I had posted this message and previewed it I then went back to photobucket and moved the pictures I had posted into another album not realising that the picture needs to be in the main album all the time for GW to access it, silly me.
