| Dear All
Has anyone outside Goulburn tried growing CoG? We saw it last weekend, and it was looking glorious, despite the appalling weather.
The only place I've been able to find it is Swane's list, which means waiting till next year for a bare root.
I find it hard to believe that such a magnificent rose isn't more widely grown, does it have another name in other places? |

| I am not sure where Crookwell is but in a magazine I am reading there is a property there and they grow it. I had never heard of this rose until I saw this article. |

| Hi Vee, Crookwell is in the same part of NSW as Goulburn, so they've travelled a little way. Swane's photo really doesn't do the rose justice. They were carrying huge sprays of large ruffled blooms, creamy apricot/yellow, fading as they aged. My husband is particularly keen to get some. It's nice when the man who finances the garden expresses enthusiasm about enlarging the rose collection. |

| The photo I saw was in the Summer edition of Your Garden magazine. It showed a cluster of blooms which were similar to the shape and size of Just Joey, although the colour was different. |
