Black marks on Camp David petals.

| I was wondering if my Camp David rose is supposed to have black markings on the petals, every bloom has been the same, they start of as black buds and by time they have fully opened they have black colourings on the edge of the petals.
I posted this Pic on the Oz Gallery and forgot to ask if anyone knew what the problem could be, as other pics of that rose that have been shown are all red, no black at all.The top pic is one of the better ones the bottom pic had more markings on it. Any ideas I would love to know...Cheers..MM.

Hi Misty
I live a couple of hours from you and so have a similar climate ie stinking hot much of the year.Anyway I don't know for certain to be honest weather our hot sun aids the blackening of the outer petals on Camp David but if I could bet on it I would.Every Camp David I've seen up here looks the same.I think it's nice all the same.I think it's just supposed to be a red/black rose.Apart from that it seems to perform very well up here.Hope that's of some help.

Thanks Thrip thats good to know, I thought I may have have bought a misformed one or something.
Yes this one is not bad here either, well so far, it was one that preformed ok when we had that
very hot windy week a while back. And yes your answer has been a great help Thanks again.
