Exquisite scan as usual ... love the petal textures. Hope you're keeping well.

Lovely Sandie. I thought of you today as I was trying to extricate my Border Collie, Scout, from a branch of Blossomtime. It didn't go well. She broke a whole branch off and was chasing after me with all those lethal thorns swishing about. Kathleen is thornless isn't she? Maybe I should have gone with KH.

A Scan is where you put your flower face down on the scanner bed and scan it.
Just like you scan a photo or if you want to photocopy something.
This way it come out true to life. Good too if dont have a camera.. Cheers..MM.

Thanks everyone for you lovely comments.
Steve-am starting to recover from a winter illness but the garden is a total mess-weeds and neglect-thankfully the roses will still do their thang.:)
LOL Sally-I hope you,Scout and Blossomtime have recovered from your encounter.
Sally-As much as I love Kathleen I wouldn't compare her to Blossomtime-Blossomtime steals my heart and feeds my soul-one of the most beautful roses ever I think.I have my first spring bloom of her out atm but she is high out of reach above an arch. She grows with Lamarque and New Dawn and competes with them quite well.
Mr & Mrs Thrip-glad you found out that you can scan live flowers and hope you enjoyed the pic.
Thanks again all.
