The cutting you sent me of GG has had a few flowers-not many because he is still only small- but this one is a WOW!

ah, Sandy, I'm so glad!!
You know, I lost my General when I had to move him when I had the big gum taken out of my back yard.
He wouldn't have survived the treatment that garden got from the tree-removal people anyway.
Your Permanent Wave is still going strong.
There are quite a few buds on it at the moment so when they come out, I'll take a piccie and show you.

GG is one of my old friends...I had him first in my garden in Brisbane....later in the southwest of WA and again now in the tiny garden of our retirement villa. I find the colours seem to differ in the different soil and climate. He always has a flower for me too. Must take a photo of him again

Not much, that I can recall anyway but my sense of smell is pretty rotten (pardon the pun).
It is really the most gorgeous rose.
Mine wasn't particularly high but it spread out.
