 o
insulation ideas?

It was recently suggested to me that my potted roses might need protection from the concrete balcony under them - it gets baking hot in summer.

Could anyone suggest some material or substance that could be used as an insulation mat? Maybe I could put aluminium foil around the pots but not under them. I already have a plant trolley under one pot so it must be cooler than the others but it doesn't seem to be doing any better than the others.

Any ideas?

yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Though, unless you've got evidence that the concrete is indeed a problem, I'm not sure I'd worry about it.
