| The anniversary show is on this weekend I believe. Anyone likely to be heading out to Mt Cootha? There was a request for HRIA members to exhibit any OGRs or provide examples in the Spring Journal. Sounds like it will be a full on rose experience. |

| We went to this a couple of years ago and it was okay. Went again on Sunday and was impressed. It wasn't very crowded so very easy to test for fragrance. Didn't buy any plants but have added a few to the list. Hazel. |

Hi Hazel, I was going to go but went to Manly for the day instead, I knew I should have gone! Did they have a good selection to buy and what were the prices like? What roses must you have after seeing them in the flesh? Cheers, Brissy |

I had planned to go but came down with the flu on Wednesday and was still sick on the weekend so didn't think I would enjoy it as much (no sense of smell either which wouldn't be much fun!) Besides I knew if I went I would be tempted to buy some more roses so it was best to stay away and avoid impulsive purchases. V |

| I went. Saturday would have been better than Sunday as the OGRs had faded badly by the Sunday. I was able to see about 20 minutes of David Ruston's flower arranging session. It was great to see him at "work". Donelle's looks like it would be worth a visit and for anyone interested in minis Tiny Petals was there. They are open by appointment only. I have their contact details if anyone is interested. |
