A lovely surprise today to find that one of the Climbing Crepuscule buds has opened and flowered.
One of the clusters has 15 buds on it another has 15,000 Aphids on it, so I spent a lot
of time removing them by hand what a job then found heaps more on my three Lavender Dreams.
I can hardly wait for all my other roses to start flowering as I have so many buds its wonderful.
Cheers.MM.

I forgot to ask about the colour it is nothing like the pic on the label or the website. I was thinking more in the line of one solid colour without the dark pink tonings. Both of them are the same so maybe its because they are grown in the shade any ideas anyone. Thanks...MM. |

| Haven't seen this extremity of pink on mine, though it does get a softer wash from time to time, which I figure makes sense given the name, but I'm no expert on Crepescule. What's the temp up your way around now? |

Freezing. Yesterday was 12-22 most days anything anything from 12-25 with winds off the South Pole. Snodge do you reckon the cold had something to do with the colour..MM. |

| I don't know really, maybe. So many roses are colour affected by the temperature. It'll be interesting to hear how it goes as the weather changes. |

Very pretty MM. You need my little helper. I have a little boy who lives next door. He is autistic but for some reason he loves to visit me. I told him one day that ladybugs eat the aphids. We now have a virtual army of ladybugs. He collects them everywhere he goes and then brings them home and deposits them on my roses. He has his own little plot of plants down the back....he loves to garden, has been quite some time since I have done gardening with littlies. I love him to pieces!!! |

| Hi MM, I don't think it is the weather as my Crepuscule is a solid apricot color and I am in Brisbane as well. Who knows what when and how? Cheers, Svenska |

I cant work it our either as it looks like it has opened as a full blown flower rather than a bud. Todays bloom was so much different thank goodness so I am happy with this one. I will put another post on. Cheers..MM. |
