Bare Root Roses have shoots and leaves

I bought six bare root roses from Garden Express recently. All of them have shoots and one have leaved out. I wonder if anyone else have grown roses in such condition and have succeeded.

Yes, I have, and from Garden Express too. Just follow the instructions they give you and stick 'em in the ground if you haven't done so already; they'll grow on ok.

Yes, and I am happy to say that they are all doing marvelously. This is the first time I have tried bare rooted roses and I look forward to getting more of them next year.

Well there you go ugg, I hope they flourish and provide you with cavalcade of colour and glorious blooms. How about posting a picture of the first bloom! Watch out for aphids around the buds and blackspot fungus on the leaves though.

Regards
