| Hi all,
We are all booked for 1pm at The New Farm Deli -
900 Brunswick St New Farm 4005 (07) 3358 2634
"The Rosies" booking
Could everyone who is coming to our afternoon catch up please confirm so I know numbers for the cafe. You can come for either coffee or for lunch. We will go over to the Park afterwards to have a look at the roses.
Lastly, please bring any of your blooms that are out if possible to show each other what roses do thrive in Qld.

| Great news about you all, I have my fingers crossed Sally that you can make it. V, no problems, I am picking Marion and her husband up at 12.30 at a Mt Gravatt motel so would you mind coming over at 12.15? This gives me a great excuse to clean up the car - which I have promised myself I am going to do each weekend! Here's the update- Brissy

| Everyone please come even if it is raining as we are inside at the deli and our last catch up we didn't have a tour of any rose garden and had a ball chatting away at a cafe. It's the company with fellow rosies that is the highlight. See you all on Sunday. Brissy |

| Thanks to the folks who attended. It was lovely to meet you and spend the afternoon chatting roses (and other things). Well done on arranging the afternoon, Brissy. I hadn't been to the roses in the park before and was surprised at the numbers especially in the old rose section. It was great to see so many 'in the flesh'. We were a little early for some so I'm hoping to get back in a couple of weeks time. Hope you and Henry have a safe trip home, Marion. I suspect you are well and truly addicted now. Hazel. |

Henry and I are just back from our trip to the Tweed Heads.
Very happy memories of a lovely time at the Deli and then the walk in the Park.
I just wish it had been in a couple of weeks as the thousands of buds on the roses will be out then.
Thank you Brissy for your kindness in picking us up, We are just so amazed at the way drivers in Brisbane handle the traffic and "aimless wanderers" who walk amongst the traffic.

| Good I was hoping it was Roses as I Looked at that last paragraph and seen this bit about traffic and aimless wanderers and did not think you could be Addicted to them. Sorry about that Marion I must have been having a grey moment.

LOL, yes I was wondering myself if the "aimless wanderer" along the road in busy traffic was way out there.
the roses were a long way from them.

| Hi Brissy and all the Rosies, sorry I missed out on the catch up, but work was calling.As a bus driver I deal with the "aimless wanderers" all the time, its a pity we lose about 2/3 most weeks, but at least the Florists get to sell some of those great Roses. Count me in for the next one. Shall post some Pics of New Farm Rose Garden, when I get new Camera coming soon. Cheers for now. Peter r |
