My Iceberg has developed these funny black spots on its trunk. You can't scrape them off with your nail and I've had a look in some of my books but can't seem to find anything that looks like it (probably not looking in the right "spot".....get it? "spot"? .........oh well)
The photo is terrible but it should give you an idea.
I've now noticed that Duchess de Brabant is starting to get them...it's 5 roses over and none of the in-between ones have them...yet.
Do you think it's bad news? Should I re-name Iceberg, Typhoid Mary?
