Hugo Roller

Could somebody please post pictures of Hugo Roller. My HG has very little perfume, very few thorns, lightish soft foliage and seems to always be in flower. At this time he has lovely crimson edged, rich cream coloured, muddled centres. However I saw one recently that a fellow gardener has purchased as HG but looks nothing like mine. Will the "real" Hugo Roller please stand up!

Oops......My abbreviations should be HR and not HG. Too much Roy and HG watching!

Despite the fact that you watch those fools, I will suggest that your rose is on the information given, sounding like Hugo Roller. Along with a large plant with angular growth perhaps?

Thanks Lozza. I hope that someone out there might post a picture. And I really don't watch those fools much but the initials sort of roll of the tongue easily.

Sounds just like my Hugo Roller. If I ever learn how, I will post a picture. Mine is enjoying a lovely autumn flush and your description fits it perfectly. The colours vary a bit in the different seasons (the nicest colours are now in autumn) - very typical of tea roses. Rach |
