delbard standards

I have just received rankins catalogue and was going to purchase Maurince Utrillo,Henri Matisse, Paul Cezanne, Camille Pissaro, France Libre and Grimaldi. The size of these bushes is 80-100cm, since the are quite small though standards would be better and the will be noticed more.
Has anyone bought any of these as standards and when they flower, is it consistantly, also do they drop the petals quickly or not?

Hi
I have a shrub rose of France Libre and it has grown to over a metre tall in a large container!!
It flowers often and the blooms have a long life both on the bush and in the vase.
If it grows this tall in a container I dont have a clue how it would go as a standard.
I also have a shrub P.Cezanne Only got a few days ago, so cant help there
No I doesnt drop its leaves and is very hardy.
Cheers

Michelle.

I have all the collection and find them easy to neglect. They perferm well, some black spot in some. Here is rankins site. For standards, go to Delbard section then find standards. A little complicated but has nice pics also.

My Henri Matisse has lanky fairly thorny stems - I'm not sure whether your standard version will look a little "weepy" in that case. Sandie may cast another light on this as she has an Henri as well.
