Paul Cezanne

Hi
I recently bought this rose (one of my favourites) and find that the blooms are nearly all yellow. I thought there would be pink /salmon in the blooms etc. If anyone has one, what has been your experience?
Here is a picture of mine:

Thanks
Michelle

RE: Paul Cezanne

Hi, I have 3 Paul Cezanne growing together in group. The proportion of salmon and yellow colour of each is very different. Even though the colour and pattern of each flower are different, all 3 bushes of mine tends to be more salmon than yellow and only the one of them constant produce flower that looks nice/with the right balance/mix and pattern. I bought mine last winter wihtout flowers and was quite disappointed with the inconsistent of quality when they flower. There is little variation of colour of flowers during cool or hot temp. I suspect the inconsistant of colour of flowers from one plant to another is a fault/characteristic of Paul Cezanne OR yours may be another case of wrong label. Sorry can't help. Happy gardening.

Michelle, have a look at brindabella-gardens.com.au
for some great pictures of the Delbards. Paul Cezanne is on there with a good explanation of its colouring.

Thanks for your replies.
Here is a pic of the rose:

feline- i think there is some pink on the way in the new blooms .Interesting that you have 3 and its disappointing that there is such inconsistency.
Well ,just have to wait and see. Maybe when the bush becomes established the colours maybe better next season.
It will be very disappointed if it is predominately yellow.
Shane-I will have a look at the site you suggested with pleasyre. Thanks for the link.
cheers
