It's lovely Michelle. What sort of bush does it make - are there many thorns?

RE: Some photos of roses

Hi frannyfrip
The bush has few thorns and very disease resistant.
Its quite a thick bush.I needed to clear the middle every now and then so the air would get through easily.
Its a HT

Beautiful as always Michelle.
Is your garden like mine more pinks than any other colour.
What kind are the three middle ones they are so different.
Do let me know.....Cheers...MM.

RE: Some photos of roses

Hi MM
Yes my garden is about 2/3 pinks, all different kinds from hot pink to pale, almost white pink!:))
Actually I dont really have a preference for pink,I have a large variety of colours but I guess when I have 2/3 of the roses pink ,I must like pink:))
I have a new rose ,a DA, Kathryn Morley...well, I am totally besotted with everything about it.The perfume is so sweet and it lasts ages in the vase.
In answer to your question,
The roses in the middle pic are from left to right,
top,Double Delight, underneath that,Nahema(the globular shape),next to that Reconciliation, above that Kathryn Morley and then First Prize ( a brighter pink.).
I hope that you can follow that!!
cheers MM
Michelle

RE: Some photos of roses

Thank you it was First Prize that I liked, but reading about it in my roses book
I would not have any success with it here "The flower colour tends to bleach quickly,
Particularly on Hot Days that follow dewy nights" Perfect description of Brisbane.
Such a shame its so pretty.... Cheers..MM.
