If you are thinking of going it is a treat. There is so much to see. There are the usual roses retailers with exhibits. Personally I thought the Delbard exhibit was a sensation.Well worth seeing.
I bought a "Best Friend" at the show, very excited about it .It has a knockout colour and perfume.
Lots of general garden stuff all sorts of flowers, really it is a gardeners kind of heaven.(for me anyway) |

I came away heavy laden - mostly bulbs and books, which were cheap as! I enjoyed the outside rose stalls more than Delbards which was over the top, but obviously popular. I really only liked their new single yellow rose Pimprenelle - wonder where they got the name from? :-) I wasn't impressed with the new striped roses but they were also obviously popular. It is a good thing that we all have different tastes, or life would be very boring. I was also pleased to see "64 roses" for the first time and discover it is a single. I wil find room for that one somewhere. I fell in love with a dear little floribunda rose "Amber Nectar" and have already mail-ordered several. I would have liked to have bought more - Maybe I will take a shopping trolley next year. |

Yes Sparaxix I needed a trolley--I bought books, some silk flowers and heaps of other bits and bobs as well. I,too ,am not too keen on the striped roses but, as you say, its good to have variety. I did love Delbards Chartreuse de Parma. It will have to go on my list with Dioressence. Im glad you had a good day. A definite for next year with some kind of trolley!!! Cheers |

I just got back today and exhausted. It was so hot but I really enjoyed it even if I didnt' buy any roses this year. HOwever I came home with loads of bulbs. You won't be disappointed with CdP Rosesforme, I'm so glad I had it ,I bought it last year straight after I saw Delbard exhibition and I just fell in love with the fragrance and the colour,so I went looking around and finally got one from the nursery near my place. They also grow a lot of them in their front display bed. The fragrance is just to die for. It seemed to me that this year, there werent' many retailers compared to last year or maybe I didnt' walk thoroughly. Some flower displays and arrangements were just magnificent. |

| Loved the show; our first visit combined with a short break in the Dandenongs and Melbourne. We had a great time. The floral displays were brilliant and the building such a good setting. I loved the Rankins/Delbard display; not keen on the striped roses but do like the ones with subtle colour variations. Now planning new rose gardens. Lucky I had to consider the plane trip home but still managed quite a few bulbs. Hazel. |

| My favourite display was the wedding garden setting all decked out in green, white and pink ... have a look at the table layouts on page 2 of my album link below. |

Steve I had a look at your album and there are some lovely shots there. I loved the ones taken of the Delbard exhibit. I spent a long time at that exhibit. I thought the Paul Cezanne was a sensation. There was such a lot to see I didnt get to everything so next year I will plan the day better. I missed the outdoor exhibits ,I was so knocked out by then I had to leave! Anyway there is always next year Thanks Cheers Michelle |
