Lady Grenfell Price

I am trying to locate an old rose that I think was bred in Adelaide. The name of the rose is Lady Grenfell Price. I;n told it was an orange colour with pink around the edges. I am pressuming it would have been available from the 1950's but could have been a bit earlier or a bit later than that.

Does any one know about it or have any idea where I could track it down? It is named after my husband's grandmother and would love to have it in the garden.

If I were you I'd contact Mistydowns....they usually carry very different and unusual roses, including Heritage. try them. I have bought from them and can report that my roses were pretty strong and healthy.

Have a few more details on this rose -think it was bred in Adelaide from 1963. Could be Lady Archibald Price or Lady Grenfell Price. Have been in contact with the Adelaide Botanic gardens but no luck so far - any clues would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you
