| A friend was cleaning out her bookshelves and thought I would love these books.
Now I have lots of reading to do.
Just love those Old Fashioned roses and the couple I have are doing the best of the lot.
Marion, who is off to do some reading

| Yes MM, the back bedroom is gradually getting filled with all we may take with us, we were told to pack everything and then go thru it all and take most of it out. On our trip we are going to the Chelsea flower show, Sissinghurst Palace gardens, where we will be staying at their B&b for a couple of days. a few more of the gardens round London and then over to visit the Monet garden and Versailles in France. I guess we will be gardened out by the time we come home won't we. Wonder how it will feel coming home to our brown country after all that green. Marion, who is getting a bit excited about the trip |

Lucky you indeed! I like the one on the left - old fashioned roses. It sits on my bedside table for some late night feasting on roses. |

| Gosh you are a lucky thing to have such generous friends - with such good taste in books! My grandmother has a copy of the Rose Expert, and it is such a good explanatory book - especially with all the pictures of what diseases cause what symptoms on the leaves. |
