 o
for Sandy and other lovers of Frilly Roses

I've just been visiting in Orange and I saw this rose in a lovely coffee shop in a town outside of O. whose name I can't remember.
I asked the owner of the shop and he didn't know what it was but said it was grown by a local lady whom (who?) he knows.
He said he would be in touch with her and would ask her what it was.
It was a bright orange with frilly edges. As you can see it went quite a yucky/greyish white colour as it aged.
It reminded me very much of Permanent Wave but with more petals.
Anyone care to take a guess as to its name?

It rather reminds me of Busy Bee (groundcover) link below to the treloars catalogue. It's on my mind because they have it as a weeper and I thought it would be lovely as one. Salmon pink?

Here is a link that might be useful: Busy Bee Groundcover

I like that one, too but this was a real brick orange.

Hi,
if this rose is a little smaller than most roses, it could be Lovely Louise. The form of the rose is right but the colour is just a little "off". Lovely Louise is a bit more orange than the photo shows. Barbara B
