It is difficult to tell from a pic but it looks like Royal Highness to me. I won't swear to it though.:) regards sandie |

| Two others that could be possibilities are Sweet Sonata or Sheer Bliss. If the roses came through a cut flower grower, There is a good chance that it is Flamingo as one of the other ladies suggested. This is quite widely grown as a cut flower variety. [The other thing that made me ask is the greenery in the vase, this is known locally here as emu bush, (the emus eat the little plum like fruits) and it is native to the forests here in S.W . W.A. It is picked in huge quantities and sent all round Australia as a florist green].[Many moons ago now I was a florist, and then a commercial wildflower picker.] My Royal Highness is much paler, more a blush tinted white. The photographs that I have looked at in my reference books show Lovely Lady to be a much brighter pink than your photo, however it is a pretty good match with a flower called First Lady. Hope this helps... good luck. |

| No, its definitely not Sweet Sonata, Royal Highness or Sheer Bliss - my thoughts are that its either a florist's rose or one of the thornless varieties. Are they thorny? Von. |

Hi all Thanks for your suggestions and yes they are very long stemmed and thorny Jan |

| If you check out "Help me find" it looks most likely that your rose is Flamingo as suggested by contributors listed above. Have a look at these pictures, you can see similarities... |

| Flamingo is a beautiful and honest rose to grow. Hence the love that the cut flower market has for it. B.W. Rosalie |

I would venture to say it is not Lovely Lady, mine is much pinker.

| I think your rose may be the cut rose Amorosa. Have a check through the Treloar's A-Z rose list and see if this looks like it. Von. |

Hello all I asked the florist to check out if his supplier in Bundaberg and he says it is called Santilly (not chantilly) Apparently it's a grower's or suppliers rose particularly for florists market and no-one else can get them. Have any of you heard of this?. I may have the spelling wrong.Jan |

It's so confusing I looked up sheer bliss on the A-Z link Yvonne sent me, thanks for that and it could also be the right rose. Oh dear. They are just all so pretty. You can really understand why people buy more than they intended. Thank you all for your suggestions. Jan |
