I love these full flowered roses, they seem to last in the vase or on the bush so much longer that the others.
I seem to be getting a lot of cuttings given to me with nonames the first has a wonderful perfume and the fellow said it was something with a name like Perfume perfection, is it ?
this small flower has no perfume but flowers away all the time
and my all time favourite Swaines Fabulous, always has flowers on it and is growing so well with no problems with the heat like some of the others.

Yes they all look good to me Marion, do you get bud grub ???? I cut off so many buds this morning and leaves where they had cocooned themselves Then I sprayed for the second time in less than a week they are terrible. Must say your roses look very healthy and in pots too, yes mine in pots are healthy also All very pretty pinks seems you are doing everything right Well Done.....Cheers..MM.. |

| Love those Marion. The pink one is different. It reminds me of one of the old roses but can't place it. Do you know its name? I love growing miniatures in pots because they provide lots of colour and are easy care. I am not fond of those you find in nurseries up here though and wonder where to get some of the real beauties like Dresdon Doll, Minnie Pearl and Blue Peter. The only large rose I have grown in a pot successfully is Mutablis. |

All gorgeous Marion-I especially love the second one-it has an old world form to the bloom. Can't tell you if your first one is PD-have you done a google image search or searched HMF for it? regards sandie |

| Franny, I don't know the name, it was given to me a a struck cutting and flowers very well, so pretty. Sandie, I did a google search and found a picture of Perfume Perfection but it looks a bit different . The same friend has given me a couple more of them, a purplish one and a white one, will show them when they flower, hopefully. How do you do a google Image search and what is HMF. ? bit of an unadventurous computer user here, I seem to stick to where I know it is safe, should change that a bit I reckon. Marion |

| Thank you MM, you are a wonderful help. Now I am in real trouble, how long can I sit at the computer looking at wonderful pictures of Roses and the gardens they grow in and get out and get my hands dirty, at the same time LOL, making more rose gardens, not forgetting the water situation, which is great at the moment, but I know it will not be that way at all times when the dam gets low again. Wonderful pictures of some beautiful roses. Marion |
