| Hi Wattle Girl here is one Summer Snow (floribunda, Perkins, 1938) White It would probably be best if you go to your local library and see if they have a copy of Botanica's Roses I only have the pocket book but there are over 2000 roses listed and all have the year they were bred if they are not too sure it may say around 1560 or that time. | Forgive me, I'm not from Australia, I'm from Florida. I was just looking through some of the forums I don't usually visit, and took interest in your question. At www.helpmefind.com you can do a rose search by year of introduction. Of course, you would then have to see which ones are available to you, you may be able to find some info on that at helpmefind, too. If you look up the individual rose there, there are tabs at the top of the page to click on, the last one lists some places where you can (possibly) purchace that rose. I've included a link. Fun research and how nice of you to do this for your Mum. Hope she is enjoying her roses. Aren't you just getting done with summertime in that part of the world? |
