Where do I find Violina?

Posted by rosesforme VIC Aust (My Page) on

Hi everyone
I am in the SE suburbs of Melb. and am looking for a spot where I can buy" Violina."
I would like to buy an established bush .
At the recent Mt Waverley Rose show it was on display in the main hall. As you entered the hall the display was on the left.
Can anyone remember the breeder or place that was advertising at that spot?
Thankyou very much
Michelle

Violina is one of Tantau's brood and is listed in the Treloar's catalogue. It is a fast grower and VERY tall. The blooms are on very long upright canes, its one for the back of the bed, or as a display rose. The blooms spoil in the rain but pick well for the vase if you get them early. She's quite a regal looking bush and the blooms are buxom and quite large. I have no idea where you can pick one up as an advanced pot.
