Black Hard Rotted Ends on Tomatoes
| | |

Hi,
Can anyone help? Tomatoes were going great guns, plenty of water, not too much sun, great soil etc. Now quite a few of them are developing really hard ends, then turning black and rotting. It is only on the ends, and the ends aren't hanging down on the mulch etc?
There are no insects or animals in sight. I am willing to try anything! We would have had a bumper crop if not for this disaster!
Thanks |

Calcium deficiency causes bottom end rot in tomatoes. Get some dolomite in Qld at your plant nursery or produce store and follow their instructions for your soils. Dolomite contains Magnesium a necessary plant nutrient too. Goodluck |
