I had a huge problem with these ants in my garden - I mean carpets of moving black ants.
I tried every product on the market and finally now bought one that actually works - I thought people should know what it is so they don't waste their money. I bought this one from a hardware shop, it's called Fix Ant. It's a granular easy to use product and the active ingredient is Chlorpyrifos. Ants are still around but they have moved their nests and totally avoid anywhere near my yard.
