Scale on bamboo

| Any suggestions how to remove scale from bamboo? Any envirofriendly solutions? The bamboo is in a courtyard of a property which is being prepared for sale, so don't want to damage the outer surface with anything too abrasive. How long will any suggestions take to act? Thanks. |

| have you tried wiping them off or scraping them off if there aren't many? if there are lots you can spray with white oil mixed at about 25% recommended rate, there are some recipes for home made white oil on my site. you will most likely find that ants are involved they usually bring them in so you will need to move the ants on. len |
