hi all ,well the jumping jacks are about again and its not even any where near summer yet,we have been looking for the nests but as yet havent found them is there a spray of some sort that I can put around to try and eradicate them as I was badly bitten earlier this year and have since had another small bite and developed and allergy to them ,though have had to have antihistamine for the swelling ,but the blister has to be seen to be believed lokks like a bad burn on my arm and yes I was wearing gloves though am staring to think that if I dont wear gloves at least I will see them before they bite me? any info much appreciated thanks

I have them at Marysville and am forever putting out the granules. Took a 'hit' last w/e while weeding. The little beggars are a bit hard to see as they are grey-black. Stings a bit the a few days later gets extremely itchy.

hi lomatia ,I have just been informed of the granules so will have to get some. I have been having some sort of reaction to their stings and come out with a big blister usually the size of a 50 cent piece or bigger goodness know how big it would get if I scratched them , so thank you for the advice ,
regards
lorraine
