Lemon Tree

My lemon tree is 4 years old and about 7 feet tall. It has a huge crop of golf ball sized lemons on it.Something is eating the green peel leaving trails like groves down to the white peel on the lemons.I love this tree,and the lemons ... Any help out there??????

Our lemons get attacked by bush rats in a similar way.

You get racoons out your way, I think. Maybe?
