Gardenia pests

One of my gardenia plants has tiny black bugs on some of the buds that are starting to grow. What are these bugs and how do I get rid of them? Also, I have another gardenia that where the buds are starting to come out has turned black. Some of the leaves are turning yellow but I have been adding ironite to help. Any help with the bugs would be great.

RE: Gardenia pests

hi there the tiny bugs will be a sucking insect spray with confidor as it wont kill your good bugs or use a hose jet to dislodge the insects, the yellow leaves could be nitrogen deficiency magnesium deficiency , root disease , excess / lacking water.. Normally iron deficiency shows up as yellow patches inbetween the veins but they veins stay green...
