Greetings everyone. A friend has 100 roses and has discovered heaps of curl grubs busily munching away. Doesn't know what to do. Any ideas please. Marnie

Hi Marnie - I came across a granular form of confidor yesterday in KMart that would probably be suitable for the curl grubs. It says that it is suitable for lawns and garden beds. I am about to use it on my garden beds as I also have the pesky grubs munching away -too many to squash and it is too hard to dig around mt plants anyway. There is also a hose-on confidor, but I reckon the granular type may be best. I also believe that confidor is a relatively safe chemical, but do not know for sure.

Thankyou KL, have passed that on to my mate. She has such a lovely lot of roses, and has travelled lots of miles to get them. It would be a shame to lose any. Good luck with yours. I am just starting a small new rose garden at this house, only room for 4 or 5, and can't wait to have some blooms. Cheers Marnie
