Weigela

I have a lovely Weigela in my front garden. It is in full sun for a lot of the day. It seems to have something eating the leaves, I cannot see what it is. Also the leaves are turning brown. The plant is regularly watered. I am not sure what the problem is. Does anyone have any ideas??

RE: Weigela

Grasshoppers are probably eating it, and the brown leaves could be almost anything from over fertilizing, sunburn or windburn.
